Hi! I’m Roslie, a Caribbean girl and Miami-based travel planner with the energy and passion for seeking hidden cultural gems, at home or abroad. And since you’ve landed here today, I am sure your heart’s bursting with the spirit of travel and discovery too.
You know that feeling when you see something unusual, and you can’t wait to tell your friend about it? When you’re exposed first-hand to historical sites and different cultures, interact with people of all backgrounds, hear just as many other languages, and experience what feels like a million different sensations, it is impossible not to want to share.
It is knowledge! It is an education! It is a treasure that only increases when you share it with others. As clichéd as it may sound, it’s the answer to the how and why Coastlines to Skylines was founded.
Who Am I, Anyway?
I’ve long had a case of wanderlust, and as I navigated through life, my desire to travel beyond North America only strengthen. My yearning to travel hit a whole new level after taking my first trip abroad—to France over a decade ago.
The cultural, food, and language disparities opened up a whole new world to me. And then, like a love bug, the travel bug bit me hard. That trip made me even more eager, more curious, and determined to see, learn, interact, and explore more cultures. That was only the beginning!
My travels have since taken me to over 100 cities in 32 countries across three continents. And the adventure only continues….
Curious about where I’ve been? Check out the destinations page.
I started this journey because I believe in the transformative power of travel. Coastlines to Skylines exists to provide travel planning resources with a combination of travel tips, itineraries, destination guides, and planning services inspiring enriching travel experiences.
But you know what? None of that is possible without you. I invite you to join me as I chronicle my travel experiences and provide practical insight that inspires you to make your own trips a reality—while providing a first-hand perspective on the local South Florida scene.
