Best Nightclubs in Miami Beach and South Beach

For those unfamiliar with the Greater Miami area, Miami Beach is its own city, lying on an island off the Miami mainland. South Beach is a little two-mile stretch of a neighborhood found within Miami Beach.
Even if you only have 24 hours in Miami, it’s worth a stop by this neighborhood that epitomizes what everyone knows and loves about Miami — and we’ve listed the best clubs in Miami Beach and South Beach to help you along.
1. STORY
Situated right in the heart of Miami Beach, STORY is a huge nightlife destination, boasting nearly 30,000 square feet of party space. The venue blends great times with a certain level of sophistication almost effortlessly, partially thanks to the great team of in-house producers and designers who create new experiences for revelers on a near-nightly basis.
And if you want to splurge? STORY offers dozens of VIP tables and premium bottle service, as well as five bars.
Where is STORY located? 136 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
2. LIV Miami
LIV is as “Miami” and over the top as it gets. Ranked as one of the best nightclubs not only in Miami but the world, LIV is a place where it’s no surprise to see celeb faces roaming the crowd, from Leonardo DiCaprio to DJ Khaled to Dwayne Wade. Artists, athletes, and other celebs abound.
Just be warned — there’s a pricey cover charge, and drink prices aren’t far behind. There’s always a line, and you’ll want to dress the part for a chance to get in. More of an experience, vanity is the name of the game at LIV.
Where is LIV located? Inside the Fontainebleau Hotel, 4441 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141
3. Twist
One of the best LGBTQ-friendly nightclubs in Miami, Twist is an experience all in itself. The gay bar features not one, not two, not three, but seven different bars, and you can find endless entertainment everywhere you look, whether you prefer drag shows or dancing to the sounds of some of the city’s best DJs.
Opening nearly 30 years ago, Twist is one of the longest-running gay clubs in the city.
Where is Twist located? 1057 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
4. Treehouse
EDM, techno music, and a jungle-inspired setting. You can find all this and more at Treehouse. Unlike some clubs in Miami Beach, where you’ll feel required to break out your best cocktail dress before you hit the dance floor, the vibe at Treehouse is a little more casual, focusing on underground tunes.
If a lack of pretension is what you’re seeking in a nightlife experience, you’ll feel right at home here.
Where is Treehouse located? 323 23rd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
5. Do Not Sit on the Furniture
Cute name aside, Do Not Sit on the Furniture is a smaller nightclub in Miami Beach with a hip vibe and a rotating list of touring DJs specializing in house music.
The brand is trying to create a more intimate experience than what you might find at other clubs in Miami Beach, catering to true music lovers (which results in lower cover charges and a more lax dress code).
Sure, they have special events and guests and VIP bottle service, but this is not like your average Miami Beach nightclub experience.
Where is Do Not Sit on the Furniture located? 423 16th St., Miami BeachFL 33139
6. Copa Room
The Copa Room is a relatively newer nightclub in Miami Beach, only opening a few years ago. Still, it’s already making a name for itself, thanks to a few features that set the club apart — like its mansion setting, its all-inclusive flat fees, and its intimate atmosphere that feels more like a music venue than a club.
The flat fee attracts most travelers to the Copa Room; if you’re trying to do a relatively affordable date night in Miami but still want to impress your date, this is where to go.
For just a little over $100 flat, you get access to a premium open bar and all the venue’s live music and ambiance — they don’t even accept tips!
Where is Copa Room located? 1235 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Best Nightclubs in Wynwood, Miami

While it’s no secret that Miami Beach is the nightlife capital of the Greater Miami area, the Wynwood neighborhood gives the hotspot a run for its money. Wynwood is a hip, artsy, young neighborhood north of downtown, offering plenty of galleries, Miami breweries, boutiques, and nightclubs. Here are a few of our favs.
7. Racket
For more of an upscale nightlife feel, head to Racket. You’ll find a tiki-style rum and tequila bar on the first floor, beers from Miami breweries, and ever-changing craft cocktails. On the second floor, you’ll find even more fun.
The internationally inspired cocktail menu ensures you’re never drinking a boring standard vodka soda again. Even the food menu is pretty stellar, with offerings like wagyu beef sliders and charcuterie boards.
Beyond the house DJs, other entertainment includes billiards and projectors showing various videos, from music to sporting events.
Where is Racket located? 150 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127
8. Gramps
Try Gramps if the whole EDM and house DJ thing isn’t your scene. The entertainment here trends more toward live bands and comedy sets than DJs, and you’ll be sure to find some tasty craft cocktails and beers from Miami breweries.
There’s outdoor seating (and a lot of seating, period, meaning this isn’t a nightlife spot where you’ll be forced to stand on your feet all night), and a more relaxed and casual vibe than you’ll find at some other nightlife spots in Miami.
Gramps is a super-casual spot to chill, play some arcade games and grab a bite with a few cocktails while enjoying a wide mix of music.
Where is Gramps located? 176 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127
9. Shots
There’s no way you’ll not be able to find Shots. Just look for the shipping containers covered in colorful graffiti outside the entrance. And yes, if you love to take shots, you’ll find plenty to go around at Shots.
Some of the signature shots? The YOLO is samba, rum, Grand Marnier, and Gasoline, with more grand Marnier, bourbon, and aguardiente.
Yes, you can find actual cocktails on the menu, but when there are so many creative shots, you won’t find anywhere else on offer. Why order anything else?
Where is Shots located? 311 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127
10. Centro Wynwood
This party spot is a great place to go when looking for a more low-key dress code but still a classic club atmosphere. There are both indoor and outdoor spaces at Centro Wynwood and, for the hungry, cafeteria-style food offerings.
Lively, with great prices and a superb staff, Centro is a nightclub in Miami to visit if you only have time for one night out on your Miami itinerary.
Where is Centro Wynwood located? 297 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127
11. The Dirty Rabbit Wynwood
Part bar, part restaurant, and part nightclub, The Dirty Rabbit is an experience that combines rumba with awesome eats (the specialties are burgers and hot dogs — what better to soak up all those shots?), great art, and a chill vibe. Anything goes here.
While you’ll find plenty of special music and art events at this venue, you’ll also want to check out the signature events, like Industry Mondays, when business travelers can get special deals on their favorite drinks.
Where is The Dirty Rabbit Wynwood located? 151 NW 24th St #107, Miami, FL 33127
Best Nightclubs in Little Havana, Miami

While Miami Beach and Wynwood have a lot to offer in terms of nightlife, you’ll be well rewarded if you branch out during your trip to Miami and explore some of the best Miami bars and clubs that exist beyond these party hotspots.
Take Little Havana, for instance; this Latin-infused neighborhood is the place to go for authentic Latin nightlife experiences.
12. Don Diablo Speakeasy at El Santo
Some of our favorites in Little Havana include Don Diablo Speakeasy at El Santo. Not just a great nightlife spot, Don Diablo is one of the top overall bars in Miami.
El Santo is the restaurant and taqueria, while Don Diablo is the attached tequila bar, which appeals to locals and travelers. Upscale and eye-catching, this is one nightlife experience that you’ll be snapping photos of all night long.
Where is Don Diablo located? 1618 SW 8th St., Miami, FL 33135
The Best Latin Nightclubs in Miami
If you’re seeking the best of the best in Miami Latin clubs, though, we have a few other recommendations that stretch across several Miami neighborhoods beyond what you’ll find in Little Havana.
13. Club Tipico Dominicano
We always prefer Club Tipico Dominicano, the best Latin club in Miami. A decades-long Allapattah fixture, it’s a local favored place for Latin eats and traditional Latin music.
If you dream of getting out on the dance floor with your date and getting down to salsa or merengue, look no further; Club Tipico Dominicano has you covered.
Where is Club Tipico Dominicano located? 1344 NW 36th St, Miami, FL 33142
14. TuCandela
In Brickell, Tucandela offers a Latin vibe without an extra trip to Little Havana or Allapattah. A relatively new addition to the Miami nightlife scene and pretty budget-friendly, the name of the game here is live Latin music and the occasional sporting event on TV.
The atmosphere is Colombia-inspired, too, a nod to the original Tucandela in Cartagena.
Where is TuCandela located? 901 Brickell Plaza, Miami, FL 33130
Best Clubs in Brickell, Miami
Brickell is more of a business neighborhood in Miami, but it still knows how to party, and if you’re staying in the Brickell neighborhood, we have a few recommendations.
15. Blue Martini Brickell
Blue Martini is an upscale nightclub considered one of Brickell’s best. Enjoy classic cocktails, wine, and dining, and then dance it up on the packed dance floor.
Make sure to try the signature drink named — what else? — the blue martini; it’s a mixture of vodka, curaçao, sour mix, and orange juice, served on the rocks in a larger-than-life snifter.
Where is Blue Martini Brickell located? 900 S Miami Ave #250, Miami, FL 33130
16. Blackbird Ordinary
Blackbird Ordinary offers a similarly stylish ambiance, with a cocktail bar open until the wee hours of the morning — we’re talking 5 a.m.
The laidback atmosphere appeals to locals and visitors as they cozy up in large booths to enjoy brews and cocktails.
Where is Blackbird Ordinary located? 729 SW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33130
Best Nightclubs in Downtown Miami

Like Brickell, the adjacent downtown Miami is more known for its shopping and big event venues than its nightlife, but that hardly means you won’t find great spots to party in downtown Miami.
Our favorites include The Wharf, E11even, Club Space, and Club Floyd.
17. Club Space
The notorious Club Space has been around for decades, thrilling club-goers with famous DJs and renowned experiences that stretch over multiple rooms. While many of the clubs on this list may come and go over the ages, it’s a good bet that Club Space will remain long into Miami’s future.
Where is club Space located? 34 NE 11th St, Miami, FL 33132
18. Floyd Miami
While Club Floyd, on the other hand, isn’t as long-standing as Club Space, it is a safe bet if you’re looking for a good party in downtown Miami. It combines 1920s-style elegance with DJ sets in a British mansion-style space for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Where is Floyd Miami located? 34 NE 11th St suite b, Miami, FL 33132
19. E11even
E11even is a 24/7 “ultra-club” named one of the best in the country, with the classic nightclub atmosphere you already know and love, just on steroids.
You’ve got your crowded dance floor, light shows, DJs, and celebrity appearances. E11even checks all the boxes.
Where is E11even located? 29 NE 11th St, Miami, FL 33132
20. The Wharf Miami
The Wharf, on the other hand, is a pretty different experience. It’s an outdoor space right on the water, with a summery, laid-back vibe that appeals to those who may just want to drink day without getting all dressed up to go to a club.
Beyond the drinks, you’ll find food, games (like beer pong), special events, and live music.
Where is The Wharf Miami located? 114 SW North River Dr, Miami, FL 33130
But Don’t Take Our Word for It…
See these amazing Miami nightlife spots for yourself! From “ultra clubs” to laid-back, casual venues with a more homey feel, you can find your favorite way to party wherever you happen to be in Miami.
Remember — if you’re partying in Miami, the clubs don’t start jumping until after midnight, so be sure to get in that afternoon nap. You’ll need it if you want to party until the clubs close in the wee hours of the morning.
