Outdoor Dining in Miami: Courtyards, & Patios in Town

Sometimes the very best view is right outside your door. Whether it is a cool tucked-away spot in Little Haiti or a chic Coconut Grove eatery, here are a few outdoor dining options with a lovely atmosphere.

Ironside Kitchen Pizza & Coffee in Little Haiti

Ironside Kitchen Pizza & Coffee, Little Haiti, Miami, Florida

Nestled amongst a garden of palm trees, I love the hip rustic vibe of this space.

Their wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas are amongst the best that you will find on this side of town. Quality service, however, (by some on the wait staff) is something left to be desired, especially if you don’t fit a particular mold.

Biases aside, if you’re looking for a laidback outdoor patio dining spot with amazing pizzas, this is a must-try.

Insider Tip: While Ironside Kitchen Pizza doesn’t offer alcoholic drinks, it’s BYOB! You can bring your own with no corkage fee (always a nice little perk!). Grab a bottle of your favorite wine or a few beers and treat the whole gang to pizza.

Ironside Kitchen Pizza & Coffee is located at 17580 NE 4th Ct, Miami, FL 33138

Vista Restaurant in Little Haiti

Be sure to try the focaccia bread and pasta that would impress even an Italian grandma! Reservations are required.

Naomi’s Garden Restaurant and Lounge in Little Haiti

As soon as the rich flavors hit your lips, you’ll realize why Naomi’s Garden Restaurant and Lounge will be among your new favorites. From the jerk chicken to the legume and the rum cake, these Caribbean delights are ridiculously delicious.

On top of their juicy meat picks, you’ll also find a range of gluten-free and vegan options. Admittedly, a little rough around the edges, but if you’re looking for a casual outdoor spot with a laidback island vibe, this place ticks all of the boxes.

Naomi’s Garden Restaurant and Lounge is located at 650 NW 71st St, Miami, FL 33150

As much as we love soaking in the sun, sometimes outdoor seating in Miami gets a bit too steamy. If the mercury has risen beyond your comfort zone, check out these spots for good temperature control and a great atmosphere.

Verde in Downtown Miami

With a sweeping Biscayne Bay, this classic American restaurant inside the Pérez Art Museum is a perfect lunch spot. Snag a seat with a prime waterfront view for weekend brunch and try their Mediterranean sampler.
